Author's Biography

Little Critter is a series of children's books written and illustrated by Mercer Mayer. Mayer, born in 1943 in Little Rock, Arkansas, is an American author and illustrator who has created over 300 books, most of which are about Little Critter and his experiences. He began his career as an illustrator in 1966 and published the first Little Critter book, Just for You, in 1975.
